MONDAY MUSIC SHARE (A DAY LATE): Vampire Weekend - Diane Young (Official Stream)
Sorry. Yesterday was a holiday and I was out and about at Disneyland. So this week’s MMS comes a day late. S’all good though. I’ve been sampling the new Vampire Weekend album and it’s pretty much amazing. So obviously I had to share a video of theirs.
I could’ve used the actual Vevo video but the visual of a Saab on fire for 3 minutes was just not as appealing as I’d like it to be. So instead, I bring you the SNL version - which happens to be where I heard this song for the first time.
MONDAY MUSIC SHARE: The National - “Sea Of Love” video
Whenever I hear The National, I always think of Matty’s episode on Skins. They had a lot of songs on that one particular episode for him. I guess that works since their songs are very dark and full of melancholy. Kind of like Matty.
Oh well. All things aside, here is their newest music video. A tribute of sorts to THIS VIDEO. Air guitaring rocks.

Um yeah. So here’s the anticipated newest single from Daft Punk. I’m feeling a very strong Snake Juice vibe here, but a couple minutes in we can hear the veritable sound of Daft Punk that we know.
Anyways. What do you guys think? After awhile it kind of grows on you.
I’m going to go listen to Harder, Better, Faster, Strong now. Take in the old with the new.
MONDAY MUSIC SHARE: Of Monsters and Men - Lakehouse (Live @ Coachella 2013)
Goodness y’all. Sorry for my unexpected long-lasting hiatus. I wasn’t even planning on taking a break but apparently I needed one. But I’m back. And I’m coming back with some music.
With it being Coachella weekend and all, it made sense to kick it with a live performance of sorts. But I didn’t know which one to showcase. There’s just so much good music out there. Alt-J, Local Natives, Passion Pit, Phoenix, Tegan and Sara, the XX, so much more.
But I decided to go with Of Monsters and Men. Just because it’s so good. Plus, I really like this song.
